I called ahead since my car died and can only take the bus so far and bike the rest of the way.  Everyone knows that a safe place to lock your bike would be inside the fence.  I was told it was no problem and that they would be accommodating.

When I got there i was told no way i can not store my bike inside the fence and had to go out.  My attitude was if i have to lock it up out side  i might as well not come. everyone going in and out of there has tools.  i am not saying  everyone there is going to steal my bike. I am saying bike theft is so bad  that if your bike is not in a good place locking it there is a sure way to lose your bike.

Why does Standard not have a simple spot to safely lock a bike  in view of the staff.  How hard is it to put some heavy thing there that someone can lock  bike safely to.

Hi, it is actually very safe to lock it to the fence (even on the outside) because:

1. We usually have someone at or near the entrance directing tow trucks etc.
2. We have cameras watching the entrance.
